super chords

xxxZigZagxxx responds:

you know it! i love chords <3

Wow… What did you use to achieve that kind of loudness - saturation or distortion?

vekoN responds:

soft clipping on the master, mostly. also some saturation and ott on the individual channels helps too. so does automation of the clipper input volume to make the drops hit harder

The drums and bass create a cool cybernetic vibe. Together with that guitar, it reminded me of the OST from the game Unreal

Creeperforce24 responds:

I’ll have to check it out! Thanks for the review!

A bit quiet, but amazing

Cheeming-Bepis responds:

Yeah, i gotta fix that about a lot of my previous stuff
Thank you :]

this 8-bit part in so good

Viraxor responds:

Thanks!

This lead with portamento sounds is the Roland SH-101? I used to love this instrument in Squarepusher's music.

vekoN responds:

it's not hardware at all :) it's just two sunvox sawtooths stacked in octaves with portamento, vibrato, and some saturation. but all this could conceivably be done with the sh-101

and yes, i love that synth too. ty!

Yes, it's French House. It's cool, but I would just change the bass sound to something like in Daft Punk - Voyager

xanxoepico responds:

It could work, but the sample is a bit excentric for Voyager's tone, I feel.

I also moved from Famitracker to FL Studio

xanxoepico responds:

I use them both, I composes this one in Fami, and mixed it a bit in FL, I didn't MAKE it in fl LOL

amazing

vekoN responds:

thanks! :)
